About Sindbad

Sindbad Production's goal is to make Tunisia the first choice for international productions. The company was created in 2001 by Moez Kamoun and Philippa Day. They work alongside a skilled, multilingual team.

Who Are We?

Moez Kamoun

Moez's career started in film school in Paris. He has worked on most of the large scale international films made in Tunisia and stopped counting a few years ago. Career highlights are working as Tunisian 1st AD to George Lucas on Star Wars 1, 2 and 3 and Anthony Minguella on The English Patient. He also worked with Rachid Bouchareb on Déposez Armes, Flora Gomes on Po Di Sangui and Frederic Mitterand on Madame Butterfly. He assisted on many major Tunisian productions as well.

He founded Sindbad Productions in 2001 to provide services for others, and make his own films. To date Sindbad has made over 100 productions for global companies and four features.

Philippa Day

Philippa's career began in London working on Bafta winning dramas and docs for the BBC and Channel 4 for the creator of Masterchef. After her move to Tunisia she decided production was for her. As unit manager, she was a key member of the team that brought the three Star Wars prequels back to Tunisia.

In 2001 she and Moez decided to go it alone and created Sindbad. They have since provided services to companies from all over the world and become the first choice for people filming here.

Nobody loves a country more than its immigrants, and she is no different. Her aim is to share all she knows about this beautiful country with the people that come here.
